About the artist
Elana Gabrielle is a multidisciplinary illustrator, maker, and designer of printed textile and paper goods. Her work is influenced by the wild and varied landscapes of the West Coast where she grew up, from misty mountains and foggy beaches to dusty desert valleys. Using cut paper collage, painting, screen printing, and textile design, she weaves the natural world into her creations.
She aims to do her absolute best to reduce footprint and use sustainable and renewable resources whenever and wherever possible. All products are multifunctional and meant to last so that nothing goes to waste. She uses earth-friendly dyes and inks on 100% natural fiber textiles, and renewable/recyclable materials whenever possible.
She's very excited to be transitioning to using hemp and recycled cotton fibers rescued from fashion industry landfills for all of paper goods, and both textiles and paper products are printed right in her neighborhood to keep production as local as possible.
